Wine Storage Management (formerly Wine Storage Matters) has undergone a rebrand!! To kick off our new look and name, we would like to give you a little background story about how WSM got started, where we are now and where we are headed.
The Wine Storage Management journey began with its managing members – husband and wife duo Teresa and Brian Carlson – who share a love and deep knowledge of fine wine. They have been visiting vineyards and collecting wine for as far back as they have known one another (and beyond). This favorite past-time has been a bonding experience that they enjoy sharing with friends and family - often opening special wines for social dinners and life events, as well as gifting bottles for special occasions. As their passion for fine wine has grown over the years, so has their personal collection. What is a collector to do, when they’ve run out of space to (properly) store their wine?? Well, why not open up a dependable off-site wine storage facility in your own community? This is exactly what the duo decided to do and so, WSM was born.
With nothing but an idea, Teresa and Brian were ready to launch into the wine storage industry. As with any new ventures, the first question was where to start? In comes George Fansmith, a trusted ally with 20+ years of experience in the industry, as well as two existing locations of his own. A match made in heaven; the three associates decided to link up. George brought his locations under the WSM umbrella, and our brand was officially launched. As the Managing Director of WSM, George provides knowledge and expertise on all things wine storage. He understands the value of fine wine collections and as a fellow connoisseur, he provides our clients with a clear understanding of their needs and offers innovative storage solutions.
As WSM continues to expand, we have rebranded ourselves. Same feeling, updated logo, and company name. Wine Storage Management has 3 operating facilities and an additional facility that is under construction (quickly shaping up to be our largest location in LA).
